Musical Columns
An interactive musical play installation that turns movement, touch, light, and sound into a shared spatial experience.
Musical Columns is a set of illuminated translucent columns of different heights, designed for touching, stepping, and collaborative play.
Each column is topped with an SLB touch button that acts as a glowing lid.
When children press the tops with their hands or feet, the columns light up and trigger individual sounds, allowing players to compose rhythms and melodies while moving through space.
